(Wilmington) US President Joe Biden voted early on Saturday in the midterm elections, which could cost him his parliamentary majority, and denounced the political violence that is raging in the United States.

Accompanied by his granddaughter Natalie, who was voting for the first time, Mr. Biden cast his ballot in his stronghold of Wilmington, in the state of Delaware.
Dressed in a navy blue blazer over a striped shirt, no tie and Aviator sunglasses on his nose, he came out of the polling station with a small sticker attached to his jacket: “I voted”.
Speaking about the attack on the husband of the leader of the Democrats in Congress Nancy Pelosi, attacked during the night from Thursday to Friday at his Californian home, Mr. Biden denounced the political climate in the country and those who continue in the wake of former President Donald Trump to challenge the election result.
It is one thing to condemn violence. But you can’t condemn the violence unless you condemn everyone who continues to claim that the election wasn’t real, that it was stolen, all that nonsense that undermines democracy.

Paul Pelosi’s assailant was actually targeting the leader of the House Democrats.
“I feel good,” Mr. Biden also assured less than two weeks before the election, while the vast majority of polls predict that the Republican opposition will regain control of the House of Representatives.
Mid-term polls are traditionally unfavorable to the ruling party in the United States, and the one to be held on November 8 should, barring a big surprise, be no exception.
“This is not a referendum. It’s a choice. A choice between two very different visions for the country. That’s what it’s all about, ”said the Democratic president.
Many Americans have already started voting in these elections either by mail or directly at a polling place.
Besides scrutinizing both houses of Congress, the ballot involves governors in dozens of states, as well as thousands of other county and state-level positions.
