It’s not because we clean horse or cow manure, or chicken coops, that we shouldn’t have style. And Michael proved it this Monday January 15, 2024 in the new episode dedicated to the portraits of Love is in the meadow
. The 55-year-old dairy cow and mixed farming breeder in Brittany has indeed proven that he can get his hands dirty, while still being prepared at the end of the day. And his children, Esmeralda and Aristide, are best placed to praise their dad and his fashion addict side, without forgetting to note the pleasure he takes when he receives someone at home.
“For the women who come here, he loves to bring out oysters, he loves to have a good meal where he brings out white wine. He’s a bit of a gentleman”assured Mickaël’s son to Karine Le Marchand before continuing: “For example, after the farm, we will never see him arrive in his work clothes. He arrives clean. Like jeans and a shirt”. A few seconds after these praises, the farmer appeared putting on jeans, a shirt, and a suit jacket to prove his offspring’s words.

Single dad at 35…
This style, Michael is inspired by a personality. Namely, the prince who became king since the death of Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022: Charles III. “I have a lot of fun shopping. Choosing my shirts, my pants… I like the English style”first confided the 55-year-old farmer before adding: “When we see Prince Charles moving around, he really has style. I find this beautiful. And it’s not because we’re a farmer that we don’t have the right to dress with a little charming side.”.
If he seems sure of himself and finds love, Michael however, took many years before raising its head. Indeed, at 35 years old, the candidate of Love is in the meadow
lost his wife Nathalie to illness. He had to take care of his son and daughter, aged 5 and 8 at the time, and his farm alone. Despite her young age, it was her son who allowed her to move forward. “It was my 5 year old son who picked me up and who said to me: ‘Dad, please stop crying’. I got up and said to myself: ‘Damn, I have my two children and I must not leave them'”he confided with emotion.
