Mick Jagger: Compared to Harry Styles, he gets angry!

He doesn’t agree… And he lets it be known! Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger is annoyed by his alleged resemblance to former One Direction singer Harry Styles. In an interview with The Times, the 78-year-old rockstar wanted to put things back in place. “I wore a lot more makeup around my eyes than he did. I was much more androgynous” said Jagger. “And he doesn’t have a voice like mine, he doesn’t move around on stage like me. He just has a superficial resemblance to me when I was younger, and that’s fine. He can’t nothing.” he continued, still wanting to express all his affection for the popstar: “I like Harry. We have a nice relationship” he confessed.

An identical style?

So why this comparison? First of all, it is worth remembering that Harry Styles has never hidden his admiration for Mick Jagger, who is one of his main influences. Moreover, he has already had fun with this situation by posing as the artist in a sketch broadcast on Saturday Night Live, an American show, in 2017. A rumor even suggested that he was going to embody his idol in a Rolling Stones biopic, but it never happened. Her clothing look is also inspired by the rockstar, as evidenced by her torn, colorful, sequined outfits, her bell bottom pants, or even her varnished nails and mascara. A style adopted at the time by Mick Jagger.

But it’s not this small disappointment that will prevent the 78-year-old star from going on tour this summer with the Rolling Stones. An event that will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the group, and which will begin on June 9 at the Anfield stadium in Liverpool. The British will also perform in France, in Lyon and Paris, next July. For his part, Harry Styles, now solo, has just released his new album, harry’s house, available from Friday, May 20.
