While we are on the eve of the release of Michèle Laroque’s new film with the cast, in particular the stars Thierry Lhermitte, Patrick Timsit and Isabelle Nanty, the 61-year-old actress confided in our colleagues from We both on the relationship with his family, one of the themes of the feature film.
In full promotional tour ofThen we dancea unifying comedy around dance, Michèle Laroque was asked about Sandra, her character in the film who, after learning of her husband’s infidelities, finds refuge with her sister (Isabelle Nanty) who is nevertheless in the antipodes.
Also, when asked if, like her character, she had a complicated relationship with her family, the actress replied: “No, but it’s never easy anyway. We have parents who have a life path. I was born with a mother who escaped from her country at the age of 23 because it was invaded by the Russians (it is sadly current). My father was very traumatized by the war. I arrived a little early because they needed to ‘de-traumatize’ themselves and be together. One day my father said to me ‘I was not perfect, but how strong are you’ When you understand that even clumsy things were done for love, it’s beautiful. As I understand, my relationship with my family is extraordinary.”
Mother of a 26-year-old daughter today, Oriane, the companion of Francois Baroin has been fulfilled in this relationship. “We were very fusional, we had to ‘unmerge’. It’s wonderful to see how different we are, and at the same time we are accomplices, we have a lot of fun. When things are not going well, we analyze everything so as not to suffer and use the different tests” she explained.
So we dance will be released in theaters throughout France this Wednesday, March 16.
