In a relationship with François Baroin since 2008, Michèle Laroque is not the only television personality with whom the former minister has known love. In May 2006, the politician fell in love with Michel Drucker’s niece on the set of Evening 3. Then Minister of Overseas, he had immediately been bewitched by the charm of this pretty journalist with long black hair. A few months later, the press revealed their idyll and Marie Drucker was forced to put her career within Evening 3 on hiatus for the duration of the 2007 presidential campaign. In the spring of 2008, the lovers ended up breaking up and the journalist finally resumed her post on Evening 3. Quickly, she was also promoted joker by Laurent Delahousse then by David Pujadas at the presentation of the 8 p.m. of France 2.
Interviewed by the magazine Psychologies in 2013, she revealed the underside of her private life which she considered very fulfilling. “I do not consider myself to have any particular difficulties in my love life; no one can judge someone’s life from two stolen photos and ridiculous comments posted in a certain press“, she confided with sarcasm.
Not yet having children at the time, she added: “I am terribly shocked by the fact that, today, if you are over 35 and have no children, you are asked to explain yourself. It is unworthy of our times and of the status of women. (…) But above all, let’s make women who take their time feel guilty! They are already exemplary enough, aren’t they? Leading a professional life, a woman’s life and, in addition, a mother’s life… You can’t do everything perfectly all the time!“
Following her breakup with François Baroin, Marie Drucker had a love affair with Matthieu Pigasse in 2009 and then with Gad Elmaleh from late 2009 to September 2010. Subsequently, she fell in love in the arms of cook Cyril Lignac. Between 2013 and 2021, she was in a relationship with Mathias Vicherat, a senior French civil servant and entrepreneur. They have a son named Jean born in 2015.
For his part François Baroin is divorced from the journalist and presenter Valérie Broquisse with whom he had three children. Since the end of his love affair with Marie Drucker (from 2006 to 2008), he has been in a relationship with the actress Michèle Laroque.
