Michèle Laroque friend with Pierre Palmade, a “not easy” relationship

True friendships are rare in show business, but they do exist. That of Michèle Laroque and Pierre Palmade is the perfect example! Since they played the bickering couples in their first show They love each otherthe two actors have never left each other and have chained collaborations: They loved each other, They love each other again, They have loved each other for 20 years and more recently They love each other… well almost, their revised sketches, broadcast on TF1. When they are not working together, the two friends do not forget each other. In good and bad times.

Michèle Laroque has always been there for Pierre Palmade despite his failings. He never hid it: the actor has flaws, resulting in sometimes excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs. Addictions against which the companion of François Baroin unfortunately can not do much. On the waves of France Bleu in the program In the retro this Monday, May 9, Michèle Laroque also regretted being so helpless in this situation: “You know, it’s not easy to be friends with someone who has heavy baggage, who hurts himself. When we love someone, we don’t like to see them hurting themselves.” If they “really love each other“, Michèle Laroque admits that seeing Pierre Palmade fight against his demons has sometimes earned him “moments of loneliness.”

Pierre Palmade’s addictions have already played tricks on him. In April 2019, the actor was even placed in police custody. The day after an evening at the end of which Pierre Palmade had not returned home alone, his conquest had accused him of rape. A version quickly denied by the accuser.

Pierre Palmade spoke a few days later in the columns of World and had said more about the circumstances of this evening: “After months of sobriety, I thought I was on borrowed time. But, that night, I was vulnerable, I drank again and took cocaine again. I had a bad encounter in a bar with a boy who had taken the same drugs.“Aware of having lived”too many stories“, Pierre Palmade had expressed his wish to get out of it: “I must be, for life, very vigilant. (…) Alcohol and drug problems, I wish, I want, I pray that they are behind me.” A good start !
