Michel Jonasz knows the Orne department well, as he had a house in Vimoutiers for many years, and he liked to spend his weekends there. He greatly appreciated the calm, the landscapes and the colors of the Normandy countryside.
This is the 4th season of his piano-voice concerts in the company of his faithful pianist Jean-Yves d’Angelo. The two friends have known each other and worked together for many years, with the apogee of the album “Unis vers l’uni” or the concert at the Palais des Sports in 1985 with the success of “La Boîte de Jazz”. And when the idea came to Michel Jonasz to offer a piano-voice show, he immediately thought of this pianist.
On the albums, the titles are often very arranged with brass or choirs, and finally even these very produced titles work in piano-voice, because a song for Michel Jonasz is above all a melody or a harmony, and he composes moreover all his songs on this instrument. A magical moment to share!
