This is the big surprise of the new school year. After four years away from the air, Frédéric Lopez is about to make his comeback on the small screen. It is also he who takes over the niche occupied by Michel Drucker with “Vivement Dimanche” on France 2 following his departure on France 3.
On the occasion of his come back scheduled for the end of October, Frédéric Lopez therefore confided in Cable Sat Hebdo on the program he is about to present called “A Sunday in the countryside”. “For four years, people in the street have been talking to me non-stop about ‘The Unexpected Parenthesis where I received, for a weekend, three guests in a house in the countryside’he charged.
“‘A Sunday in the countryside will be in the same spirit except that we will be broadcast on Sundays at 3 p.m. […]. The tone will be lighter. We will laugh more. We are going to shoot it in a new companion house in the Paris region”explained the presenter.
A long-awaited return that the television producer did not even think of anymore: ” It was not planned. […]. And then, France 2 calls me to offer me to take the new niche occupied by Michel Drucker. I told them I was not interested”confided Frédéric Lopez who also explained that it was Anne Holmes, the new program director of France Television who made him change his mind: “She told me that she was looking for sincerity, the most important thing for me.
