Michel Drucker honorary president, surrounded by Sophie Davant, Anthony Delon and Nathalie Marquay

The Reading for All association has found the president of its Festival of Books and Artists, in the person of Michel Drucker, recently the victim of a scam. Honorary President, he was immediately seduced by this proposal from the association which fights against illiteracy. The goal? Promote the books of personalities, but above all, encourage reading for all, thanks to the discovery of the work of his idol. And many personalities have responded positively to the proposal.

Thus, are expected on July 2 and 3, Sophie Davant (Everything that binds us), Anthony Delon (Between dog and wolf – who had made noise because of statements about her father Alain Delon), Valérie and her daughter Roxane Damidot (3615 my life), Nathalie Marquay Pernaut (I believe it), Tatiana Silva (It all starts with you) or even Caroline Margeridon (Free!). This festival offers two days of proximity with authors, artists, and the public. A unique event, better still, an authentic encounter between readers and these artists, writers, philosophers, athletes, singers, chefs, comedians… until now they only knew the image.

For the occasion, we can also count on the presence of Thierry Beccaro (My own resilience), Odile Vuillemin (Latitudes), Arianne Seguillon (The big), Line Papin, former partner of Marc Lavoine (A possible life), Tristane Banon (The peace of the sexes). For five years, illustrious artists and publishing houses have accompanied the association with increasing enthusiasm. And in the past two years, young people have been hit all the harder by this pandemic. The festival therefore once again has a double scope: to restore inspiration, the taste for reading, that of discovery, desire and allow writers and artists to reconnect with the public.

This second Parisian edition of the Festival of Books and Artists is therefore all the more eagerly awaited and will take place at the Eiffel Tower.
