This is a family that continues to be talked about. While Michel Drucker has been screwed in his red seat every Sunday for years on France 2, his granddaughter, Rebecca Château, is in turn on the front page of the press headlines. Or almost. The young woman, actress, model and dancer, posed for the new section “One girl, one style” from the magazine Cosmopolitan, as she revealed on her Instagram account. “Too happy“, she wrote enthusiastically in the caption of her publication.
Rebecca Château is the daughter of Stéphanie Jarre, herself the daughter of composer Maurice Jarre and Dany Saval. The latter married Michel Drucker in 1973 and the presenter adopted Stéphanie, integrating her forever into her own family. It is therefore with great pride that he leafs through the glossy pages of the magazine Cosmopolitan. After all, the host of Can’t wait for Sunday is very close to his granddaughter, thanks to whom he has overcome terrible ordeals.
I was thinking of my wife, my daughter, my granddaughter
In September 2020, Michel Drucker had recourse to a triple bypass. He spent nine and a half hours on the operating table and was asleep for 15 hours due to general anesthesia. If he had waited longer to come to the clinic, he would have had to have his lower right leg amputated. And despite the Covid-19 pandemic, and the impossibility for relatives to go to the hospital, Rebecca Château gave her grandfather a boost from a distance. “I was thinking of my wife, my daughter, my granddaughter“, confided the pillar of France 2 to the magazine Gala.
