Michel Drucker cash on the health of Philippe Bouvard

He marked the history of television and radio, so much so that when he left Grosses têtes, the show lost many fans and members, like Amanda Lear, who did not want to join Laurent Ruquier , out of loyalty. Today, Philippe Bouvard is 94 years old. And Michel Drucker cites him as an example, because he doesn’t want to retire either.

“He doesn’t hear well, his visual acuity has changed a lot”

Guest on the set of C à Vous, the 81-year-old host, who escaped certain death in 2020, gave news of his esteemed colleague: “I call him almost every two weeks Philippe” he said. And to explain: “I speak very loudly because there are days when he cannot hear well. And then, his visual acuity has changed a lot. He was 94 years old…”

Michel Drucker took advantage of the interview to remember: “We lived together because Le Théâtre de Bouvard took place at Studio Gabriel (where most of Michel Drucker’s shows are recorded, such as Vivement Dimanche, editor’s note). We had the same office! Philippe is an extraordinary character. The number of people that I discovered thanks to him. Because the list of those who made Le Théâtre de Bouvard is long: Les Inconnus, Jean-Marie Bigard, Muriel Robin… they all came to his house.”

The work is his “reason for living”

If today Michel Drucker assured that he would not leave before 2025, he believes about his colleague: “He is 94 years old, but he is right, we must continue and work until the end!” For his part, Philippe Bouvard recently admitted to Soir Mag that work was still his passion today. “reason for living”to the point where, he says: “The hardest part is the weekends. My secretary isn’t here and I’m bored.”
