Michel Côté (1950-2023) | The Outaouais Film Festival dedicated to Michel Côté

The Outaouais Film Festival will dedicate its 24e festival to Michel Côté who passed away today.


“The festival immediately set up a special event to mark the death of Michel, we dedicate this edition to him and will project on this occasion CRAZY by Jean-Marc Vallée, in the presence of Pierre Even, the producer of this magnificent film,” said Didier Farré, founder and general manager of the festival, on Monday.

In the past, the event has selected numerous films starring the popular actor, including On the doorstep, by Eric Tessier, CRAZY, by Jean-Marc Vallee, The last tunnel, life after love, as well as Piché: between heaven and earth. Michel Côté was also president of the 22e edition of the festival, in 2020, which was canceled due to the pandemic, five days before the opening.

CRAZY will be screened at Cinéma 9, in Gatineau, on Sunday, June 4 at 4 p.m. The FFO stands from 1er to June 9.
