Michaël Youn victim of anti-Semitic insults, he sees red and reveals his “true” religion!

Critics who have always followed him… Indeed, Michaël Youn, although he makes thousands of fans laugh, still receives anti-Semitic insults from Internet users. A situation that is starting to seriously annoy him and on which he wanted to dwell on this Friday, March 3. Especially since anti-Semitic insults have no place. Because these are odious and reprehensible, at first, but also because the 49-year-old actor is not Jewish, quite simply. He has already assured it in the columns of Paris Match in 2013, on the occasion of the release of the film “Long live France”.

“My maternal grandparents came from Italy between the two wars, when France needed manpower; we called them the Ritals”Seven’s dad explained at the time before clarifying: “My paternal grandparents were Jews from North Africa, Algeria and Morocco, who became French by the grace of the Crémieux decree”. Michaël Youn, whose real name “Benayoun” would therefore only be Jewish in his name. In fact, his mother is “practicing Catholic”. And that, many detractors seem to forget.

Michael Youn and his focus on his religion

This is why, this Friday, March 3, the one who is starring in the film “BDE” on Prime Video since February 24, 2023, wanted to clarify the situation and give some lessons to certain Internet users. “The antisem make me laugh with their ‘Youn dirty Jew'”, he lamented on the blue bird social network before expanding the culture of these same haters: “If they had culture: they would know that Jewishness is transmitted by the mother”.

Precisely, his mother has no connection with Judaism except that she is married to the father of Michaël Youn who is a practicing Jew. This is why the 49-year-old comedian also clarified: “they would know that my mother, Marina Barbieri, is a devout Catholic of Italian descent”. After giving a few lessons, the comedian gave a nod to his origins to conclude his lesson: “so as they say over there: Vaffanculo!”
