This season of star Academy knew unprecedented media coverageand good audiences, bringing together on average 3.5 million viewers every Saturday evening and every day between 5:30 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. more than 1.6 million faithful.
Even before the end of the season and without waiting for the complete assessment of the audiences, TF1, DMLSTV and EndemolShine have already validated a new season ! This was made official by Nikos Aliagas two weeks ago, and will be broadcast during the 2024-2025 season. But we will have to be patient for the fans, who do not yet know which teachers will be back. Indeed, who says new season necessarily says changesand like in the old days, directors can leave… In an interview with ParisianMichael Goldman, who has led the academy for two seasons, remains mysterious about his renewal.

“I put myself at the service of all this without asking myself the question of what’s next. The only thing I know is that the February holidays are approaching and I can’t wait to leave with my daughters” simply explained Michael Goldman. We will therefore have to wait a few more months to know if the director will agree to return for a third season, or if he will prefer to hand over the reins, as Alexia Laroche-Joubert, Nathalie André, Gérard Louvin, Armande did before him Altaï and the late Charlotte Valandrey in the season broadcast on NRJ12. As for the outcome of season 11, Michael Goldman says “satisfied”believing that the last five candidates were the best in the class: “I am very, very happy. And quite calm because all the scenarios suit me, and have been for several weeks. Honestly, the last five candidates in the running (Pierre, Julien, Héléna, Axel and Lénie) all deserved the victory. Now it’s up to the public to choose.”
