“I collapsed”

Paola, student of season 10, is currently promoting Beautiful,a composition in which she encourages her listeners to ignore the gaze of others. For the occasion, the pretty brunette took to her social networks this Thursday, February 8, 2024 to say “some words” regarding its creation to its community.

“I wrote this song, which is about ‘making myself beautiful for myself’ love me as I am. And yet… A few weeks ago, I shot the video for Belle (which I am very proud of and which I love very much). But when I watched the images during editing, I collapsed. Completely. A bit of a shame given the theme of this song. I hated my image on the screen and to be honest, it reminded me of the feelings I had during my time at Star Ac’. This uneasiness is not new, but since the TV appearances, it’s a little raw”she confided.

And to continue: “Today, I want to tell myself that it’s ok and that I will be able to love myself as I am. Thanks to my loved ones, to time and thanks to my music which is basically therapy. Beautiful , it’s my therapy.” A publication which sparked strong reactions.

Faced with Paola’s distress, Michael Goldman, the director of the star Academytook the time to respond to his former protégé. “Already, you are one of the best songwriters I have come across in the last ten years. And what’s more, you are beautiful like a heart. So anything. You pack up your shit and light up the world otherwise I’ll get angry.”, he indicated. A message which seems to have upset the young woman who did not fail to respond: “Oh but I am much too touched by this comment. That is not allowed. Thank you for your support from the start.” So cute !
