Metz Handball finishes third, after winning against Esbjerg (32-26)

First Champions League podium for Metz Handball! The Messines get the bronze after beating the Danes of Esbjerg (32-26) in the small final, which they faced for the fifth time. The Dragonnes are therefore doing better than in 2019, when they lost the small final against Vipers. The Messines also led at the end of the first period with a six-goal lead (18-12).
