Lil Wayne gave a performance last night at the Metro Metro festival, but not without delay.
The festival started three hours later than planned due to technical issues.
Following this perilous start, the show went well, until the headliner took the stage.
When Lil Wayne started his performance, there was no time for onlookers to go to the bathroom, sneeze or blink, as the star only sang for 15 minutes. The performance ended abruptly at 11:01 p.m. when his microphone cut off.
The rapper still had time to perform hits such as Mr. Carter, Mona Lisa, Uproar, Blunt Blowin and 6 Foot 7 Foot, warmly thanking the crowd between each song.
Fortunately, the festival ended without a hitch this time. Remember that overflows had occurred last year when several festival-goers had overturned a security barrier to enter without paying and others had climbed the Stadium to bypass admission.
This year, the festival organizers ensured that the site was much safer. Taller and stronger barriers were erected and the festival made sure to have more security guards to monitor the site.
