Achievements Over the Years
Benoît, you took the reins of Frameto nearly fifteen years ago. What milestones have you reached?
BG: Initially, Frameto primarily offered assistance to clients on construction sites. My focus shifted towards manufacturing, specifically in processing steel and aluminum through methods like cutting, welding, and punching. We also began designing standardized products tailored to meet the specific needs of professionals.
Emerging Trends in Metalwork
What new demands are you observing in the metalwork sector?
BG: We specialize in the production and assembly of metal components for various applications, including roadworks, networks, green spaces, and waste management. Local authorities are increasingly adopting sustainable practices, which enables us to provide innovative solutions for urban renewal projects.
Is the shift towards modernization influenced by Romain Guérin’s leadership?
RG: Indeed, this generational transition is highlighted by the launch of our new brand, SoluMeto, which focuses on our catalog products related to urban development. This brand encompasses Frameto’s traditional offerings as well as products made from recycled materials like plastic and hemp. We continue to excel in creating custom solutions, such as supplying wooden planks for the Palace of Versailles park.
Innovations in Solar Carports
This year, you are also making strides with solar carports (photovoltaic canopies).
In line with the Climate and Resilience Law, which promotes the installation of photovoltaic canopies for parking lots, we have taken the initiative to design and produce steel solar carports. These structures not only transform parking areas into renewable energy sources but also serve as practical solutions for supporting the energy transition.
Our aesthetically pleasing shelters enhance outdoor spaces and come in various types, including trash shelters, smoking shelters, and two-wheeler shelters, tailored to meet diverse client needs. From design through installation, we provide a complete, turnkey solution, including the manufacturing of bike and motorcycle racks. Thanks to our range of standard shelters, SOLUMETO ensures quick installation for our clients.
What other developments can we expect from Frameto?
RG: To facilitate our growth, Frameto has initiated a substantial investment program this year, focusing on the digitalization of our operations. This includes acquiring new software that acts as a catalyst for growth. Simultaneously, we have invested in newer, more efficient ergonomic CNC machines to boost productivity and
