A “harassing behavior”. The delegation of European deputies from La France insoumise (LFI) announced, Monday December 4, that it had excluded elected representative Anne-Sophie Pelletier from its group for “harassing, inappropriate and aggressive behavior”. In a press release, the delegation indicates that “13 parliamentary assistants” reported “degraded working conditions and harassing, inappropriate and aggressive behavior towards them on the part of Anne-Sophie Pelletier” since the start of his mandate in 2019.

“In this context, we have therefore made the decision to exclude Anne-Sophie Pelletier from our delegation”add the rebellious MEPs, judging this behavior “incompatible with values” of their delegation. The latter says she has ensured that measures are taken to protect parliamentary assistants “while allowing them to keep their jobs”.

A Mediapart investigation, published in 2021, reported acts of harassment. The LFI group in Parliament did not then decide to exclude Anne-Sophie Pelletier.
