Mental health | Bridgerton Actress Slams Lack of Support From Netflix

Actress of the popular series BridgertonRuby Barker denounces the lack of psychological support from Netflix and the production house Shondaland.

In an interview with an Oxford University podcast, the British actress, who plays the role of Marina Thompson in seasons 1 and 2, admitted to having had two psychotic attacks while she was filming in the romantic series period.

“Not a single person from Netflix, not a single person from Shondaland, since I had two psychotic breaks because of this show, has contacted me or emailed me to ask if I would well or if I could benefit from any follow-up or support. Nobody,” she said in this interview, which was reported in numerous American magazines, including Variety.

“It was a really tormenting place for me, because my character was very alienated, very ostracized, left to his own devices,” she adds about the film set.
