Since the morning of Wednesday 1st December, the 140,000 members of the Republicans are in front of their computers, in order to vote for the politician who will represent them in the presidential elections of 2022. Four days before the end of the votes, the ballot seems close.
Voting is 100% digital for members of the Republican party. This provision seems to be a constraint for older supporters, who find it difficult to familiarize themselves with the technological tool. In Paris, some permanent members of the party have set up assistance in their premises, in order to help members who are less comfortable on a screen. Several voters are already present in the waiting room.

To have someone valid at the level of the person who will take the place of the president “, declares a member. On site, several referents respectively affiliated with a candidate are present. “I just come to make sure of the sincerity of the voting operations”, testifies Emmanuel Blanc, the departmental referent of Michel Barnier.
