Raped by a man, she had the courage to speak up and broadcast a video to share her pain after the court in Évry rendered its decision. A decision that allows the alleged culprit to “go free” and which makes many Internet users mad with rage. Starting with Mélissa Theuriau.
Indeed, the companion of Jamel Debbouze was undoubtedly shocked by what she had just heard and decided to support the young woman. The latter explained in the video that has been circulating for several days: “My name is Carine, I am before the Evry court and my attacker has just been found guilty of three counts”. “Namely rape on my person, rape on Samantha, sexual assault on another person and in a state of recidivism”she added to make it clear that with such charges, her attacker should have ended up behind bars.
Raped but not a victim?
However, the Evry court did not take the long-awaited decision… “And his sentence is six years in prison, two of which are suspended with reduced sentences. That is to say, he just won’t go to prison… Is that normal?”, lamented the young woman in a moving video. This continued and indicated the “reasons” pronounced by the court for not placing the accused in detention: “Ah yes! In fact he was sentenced to this sentence because he had a child two years ago and we don’t want to ruin the life of a father… So I wanted to know if I’m raping and that I have a child behind, would I also not have prison or is it just vis-à-vis the raped women?.
The young girl, in tears and dismayed by this decision, therefore appealed for help: “So I’m asking everyone to contact the media because we have ten days to appeal and the prosecutor thinks it’s not even worth doing because he thinks that even on appeal we won’t win. . It is not fair”. Faced with Carine’s distress, many personalities have chosen to relay her call for help, including Mélissa Theuriau. This is not the first time that the companion of Jamel Debbouze takes a stand for such cases. A few weeks ago, she shared her rant against the pedophiles who are rampant on the Web. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to make things happen…
