In 2008, Jamel Debbouze and Mélissa Theuriau were married at the Abbey of Vaux de Cernay in front of family and friends. Fourteen years later, the two young people are still as much in love and are the happy parents of two children Léon (12 years old) and Lila (8 years old).
Very discreet about their private life, the comedian and the journalist are on the other hand active on the social networks where they do not hesitate to declare their flame. We remember, for example, the fiery declaration of Jamel Debbouze last July, on the occasion of the 43rd birthday of his wife. “My lifelong love, I love you, my Benjamine Button” he wrote in the caption of a photo of them.
Mélissa Theuriau makes a surprising revelation
In a rare interview given to the newspaper Le Parisien, the journalist returned to their meeting on the set of the film “Asterix at the Olympic Games”: “I was doing a subject for Forbidden Zone. I had been asked not to approach him, but he was watching me behind a newspaper he was holding upside down. The discussion started, I only heard intelligence” she remembered.
The pretty brunette then confides that it was she who provoked things: ” It was I who sought to join him… simply to continue our exchanges. At the time, we were both a couple,” she reveals.
For his part, Jamel Debbouze had confided, in the program 50 ‘Inside, that he had fallen in love with his wife: “Exactly the same thing happened to me as my character Numérobis who fell in love with Adriana Karembeu. It was very dazzling. This was not planned” he declared. “At the time, we know that it is special and that something very strong is happening. What ? We can’t put words to it” he added.
