A photo of Prince Harry’s wife which dates from the last time they met, namely on the sidelines of Queen Elizabeth II’s jubilee.
We thus see the mother of Lilibet and Archie lovely and smiling but without her husband, during the office at Saint Paul’s Cathedral. This is the only event the Sussexes have attended during this much-scrutinized platinum jubilee. The first appearance of Meghan and Harry for a long time since their last visit to English soil dates back to March 2020, in Westminster Abbey. For Meghan Markle, the members of the royal family therefore did not really tread. A simple photo, a legend all that is more standard, the 41 years of the American seems to be for them a non-event.
Tensions continue between the two brothers, and more broadly their respective families. When Meghan Markle and Harry came to London, the Cambridges and the Sussexes did not exchange. The two brothers, William and Harry were content to see each other from afar, without even looking at each other. If Lilibet, the youngest of the Sussexes, was finally able to be presented to her great-grandmother Elizabeth, she celebrated her 1st birthday without the presence of Kate and William.
