Meghan and Harry far from Archie and Lilibet: they are thinking of a big decision for the queen’s funeral

Thursday, September 8, the dreaded news of the death of Elizabeth II fell. After long hours of doubt about the health of the queen, the latter died at the age of 96, surrounded by her family in her residence at Balmoral in Scotland. Chance has done things rather well since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, settled in America since their departure from the royal family, were in Europe at the same time to attend charity events. Alongside the Windsor clan until the queen’s funeral, expected on Monday September 19, Harry and Meghan Markle left their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, in the hands of their grandmother Doria Ragland, but the time is starting to get long.

Their presence in Europe initially scheduled for a week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have obviously changed their schedule and extended their stay in England at least until the funeral of the queen. But difficult to envisage so much time away from their two children. This is the reason why the couple are considering a way to bring Archie and Lilibet to them before their return to the United States next week.

If their decision has not yet been made, family reunions are at the heart of the discussions. It must be said that since the start of their trip to Europe, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not seen Archie and Lilibet again. Spending another week away from their toddlers is therefore almost impossible for them. This is the reason why Doria Ragland could soon travel with them to join her daughter and her son-in-law, in full mourning, in the United Kingdom.

It would not be the first time that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have come to see the royal family in the company of their children. Already last June, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took advantage of Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee to present Lilibet to members of the clan and celebrate her very first birthday. A meeting that will have allowed the Sovereign to get to know her great-granddaughter before bowing out.
