Raphaelle has 18, is a high school student and the youngest candidate in the legislative elections, the first round of which is being held on Sunday June 12. Between the revisions of the bac and the campaign, not always easy to organize well.

At just 18, Raphaëlle Rosa is France’s youngest candidate in the legislative elections. She is running under the LR banner, in the 8th constituency of Moselle. On the morning of Tuesday, June 7, she tows between two revisions of the baccalaureate. Voters seem surprised, but not hostile. “It’s very good, it revitalizes politics a little bit“, estimates one of them. Raphaëlle Rosa, she would like “modernize the policy of [son] country”.

However, her chances of victory are low: Valérie Pécresse only obtained 2.3 % of votes in the presidential election. His opponents salute his youth, but not necessarily his ideas. “Of course I encourage her. It’s a shame that she carries these ideas, especially for a young person who has her whole life ahead of her”, comments Céline Léger, the NUPES candidate. At home, Raphaëlle Rosa revises the philosophy test. The review will take place just three days after the first round of parliamentary elections. “For the past week, the nights have been much shorter”, she acknowledges. However, she can count on the support of her father, even if the latter claims to be on the left.
