Mediterranean TGVs slowed down due to a 10-hectare fire in Pierrelatte

A 10 hectare fire in the town of Pierrelatte in the Drôme causes the slowdown of the TGV Méditerranée. About 60 firefighters are mobilized on the spot.. The fire, which broke out near the railway tracks, was brought under control thanks to the intervention of two Dash planes, in flight not far from the area at the time. They were able to drop retardant on the disaster area. On the ground, the firefighters avoided the spread of the flames at the Château de Faveyrolles.
