After several years of judicial investigation, Jean-Marc Morandini was sentenced on December 5, 2022, to one year in prison with a probationary period of two years for “corruption of minors” on three teenagers. It all started in 2016 when the famous French animator was accused by several young men of having taken advantage of his status as a star animator to obtain sexual favors.
At the time, the magazine “Les Inrocks” had indeed revealed that Jean-Marc Morandini had organized castings for the web series he was producing, called “Les faucons” and that the auditions had literally slipped… Five actors had indeed decided to file a complaint and accused the host who was quickly placed in police custody and then indicted.
During his trial, Jean-Marc Morandini had to justify himself about messages sent to two 15-year-olds, in 2013 and 2015-2016, which consisted for one of evoking sexual scenarios and, for the second , to ask him to send a photo of him naked. The host was also on trial for asking a third 16-year-old to strip naked and masturbate at his home in 2009 during an audition for a project to remake an American film, which never saw the day. If the host recognized a “recklessness”, he always denied having used his strength to obtain anything.
Free until his trial, the host was delighted with the fact that “it does not appear from the file or from the debates that he can be described as a predator or a pedophile”. Despite this, the court had added a two-year care obligation as well as an entry in the file of perpetrators of sexual or violent offenses (Fijais).

The investigation reveals another sordid fact: Jean-Marc Morandini promised the young teenagers to whom he wrote, to make them meet Cyril Hanouna… in exchange for photos. Enough to involve the famous presenter of “Touche pas à mon poste” in spite of himself in the case.
