Me | To listen to the piece ★★★

MØ, born Karen Marie Aagaard, has just released her third album, Motordrome. You may know the Danish artist from Major Lazer’s hit Lean Onpart on which it appears.

MØ doesn’t give into bombastic and sexy pop. Rather, it embodies Scandinavian and introspective modesty. The first listening of the 10 songs Motordrome ended with a little disappointment, but our pleasure finally grew with use.

The extract Live to Survive stands out from the crowd and makes us wish for the reopening of the dance floors. His synths eighties and his refrains have a euphoric effect. The extract was released quite a while ago, but it is absolutely to add to your listening list.

In another register, guitars and a grunge melancholy languish very pleasantly wheelspin. On hip-bonesthere is even a guitar solo.

There are other rooms with a nocturnal atmosphere (let us mention New Moon) to which we want to come back, while others, more generic, quickly end up getting bored (Kindness, cool to cry).

In sum, Motordrome does not only contain strong moments, but certain pieces certainly deserve the attention of pop lovers.
