PSG is counting on the national championship to get back on track. Five days after snatching a draw at the end of the suspense against Newcastle in the Champions League (1-1), Paris Saint-Germain visits promoted Le Havre, Sunday December 3 at 1 p.m., on behalf of the 14th day of the League 1. The capital club will try to string together a seventh victory in Ligue 1 to take a four-point lead at the top of the standings, after Nice’s defeat at Nantes on Saturday (0-1).
For this match, PSG will be deprived of their defender Marquinhos, still injured in his hamstring, but also of Warren Zaire-Emery, Nuno Mendes and Presnel Kimpembe. Without them, PSG will have to break through the Le Havre barrier, four of whose last five matches ended with a score of 0-0. The Normans, surprising eighth in the championship, have resources and held Lens and Monaco to a draw during their last two receptions at the Océane stadium.
