On Monday, head coach Mike Vrabrel announced that his athlete will go under the knife on Tuesday morning. Asked if the star player’s season was in jeopardy, the pilot said there was “absolutely” a chance to see Henry again by the end of hostilities in 2021.

According to the NFL Network, the running back would be kept out of the game for a period of six to 10 weeks.

In his 34-31 weekend win, Henry was limited to 68 yards on 28 carries, his worst running performance of the campaign.

Henry leads the NFL with 937 yards on the ground. His closest pursuer is Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns, who ran 353 fewer. The Titans occupy the top of the Southern Section of the American Association with six wins in eight games.

The Tennessee club are reportedly already in solution mode, as it looks like veteran Adrian Peterson will get a practice tryout with the team this week. The 36-year-old is still a free agent. He has played the last 14 NFL campaigns.

Jameis Winston will not return

With the New Orleans Saints, quarterback Jameis Winston suffered an injury that ended his season.

Last Sunday, in a big win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the pivot tore a ligament in his knee. This is what head coach Sean Payon announced, while specifying that the 27-year-old footballer will not be seen again in 2021.

Winston was in his first season as a Saints starter, who got the job after Drew Brees retired. In seven games, he completed 59% of his stints for gains of 1,170 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also the victim of three interceptions.

In his absence, the Saints reportedly intend to trust Tayson Hill or Trevor Siemian, who are already with the organization.
