He once again crushed all suspense. Reb Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix (Nevada) on Sunday, November 19, ahead of Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and his teammate, Mexican Sergio Pérez. The Dutchman thus won his 18th victory this season, his sixth in a row, demonstrating his hegemony until the end of the season, despite his already acquired world champion title. The United States is doing well for the three-time world champion, as he won his third Grand Prix there this year after Miami and Austin.

Contested from start to finish, the Grand Prix, which was contested in the colorful night of Las Vegas, was also marked by a final lap of great beauty, the Monegasque Charles Leclerc having perfectly negotiated one of the last turns to overtake Sergio Pérez and thus grab second place behind Max Verstappen who had taken back the lead a few minutes earlier.

“I wanted this victory so badly, but what a race!” exclaimed the driver still on board his Ferrari. French driver Esteban Ocon (Alpine) finished just off the podium (4th). Disappointment on the other hand for Pierre Gasly (Alpine), long present in the top 5 but who was surprised by Oscar Piastri two laps from the finish and who therefore finished 11th. Lewis Hamilton finished in 7th position.
