Repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic, Top Gun: Maverick will finally be released on French screens on May 25 and Americans on May 27, just after its Cannes broadcast on May 18. And, to celebrate this lovely outing, the Palace of Épernay is organizing a special evening this Tuesday, May 24.
If there is indeed a film that counts in the filmography of Tom Cruiseit is certainly Top Gun because, if he has indeed played in many cult films and recognized by the public as well as critics such as Collateral, Mission impossible or Legend, it is thanks to Top Gun, released in 1986whom he knew notoriety and the true beginning of his (now) long career.
