(Yamachiche) A motorcyclist lost his life following a collision with a tractor on Route 153 in Yamachiche, Mauricie, on Friday afternoon.

The driver of the tractor, which was traveling south, allegedly failed to yield to the motorcyclist before making a left turn towards a private entrance, explains the spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, Stéphane Tremblay.
The 55-year-old motorcyclist, originally from Saint-Étienne-Des-Grès, died.
The driver of the tractor was not injured.
Route 153 remains closed at chemin des Caron on Friday evening.
