Matthis Lebel released from the XV of France

The staff of the XV of France handed over this Wednesday fourteen players having participated in the preparation for the match against Italy at the disposal of their club. The Toulousain Matthis Lebel is one of them, he is not retained in the group to play the first match of the Six Nations Tournament. The winger could therefore strengthen the workforce of Stade Toulousain this Saturday for the trip to Perpignan.

In contrast, nine Toulouse are retained by Fabien Galthié: Antoine Dupont, Romain Ntamack, Cyril Baille, Julien Marchand, Peato Mauvaka, Dorian Aldegheri, Anthony Jelonch, François Cros and Thomas Ramos remain in the group. Antoine Dupont, nominated for the title of best European player of the year, wears the captain’s armband.

The fourteen released players are Paul Boudehent (La Rochelle), Ibrahim Diallo (Racing 92), Jules Favre (La Rochelle), Thomas Lavault (La Rochelle), Sekou Macalou (Stade Français), Jérôme Rey (Lyon OR), Yoan Tanga ( Racing 92), Donovan Taofifenua (Racing 92), Florian Verhaeghe (Montpellier), Brice Dulin (La Rochelle), Antoine Hastoy (Pau), Matthis Lebel (Stade Toulousain), Virimi Vakatawa (Racing 92) and Tani Vili (Clermont).
