Matthieu Voisin and Pietro Ceccarelli extend, three new arrivals on Christmas day

CA Brive supporters are spoiled. Santa Claus has placed under the tree a multitude of contract extensions and new faces for next season.

The current vice-captain of the club, Matthieu Voisin, 25, is signing up for three more seasons. The French third row is now linked with CA Brive until 2025. An important extension as captain Saïd Hirèche ends his career at the end of the season.

Another important extension, the Italian law and international pillar, Pietro Ceccarelli, 29, remains in Corrèze at least until 2024. “Pietro Ceccarelli is an experienced player, both internationally and in the Top 14”, reacts Jeremy Davidson, the manager of the Briviste club. “He is a modern, intelligent mainstay, very good in melee as well as in current play. He has played in France, Italy and Scotland and has JIFF status, making him an important part of the squad for years to come. ”
