A strange phenomenon emerged in the late 1990s, first on stage and then on screen. THE We C We, from the name of their big hit, pastiching those of the boy bands of the time, was above all a troupe of friends, born on the stage of the “Carré Blanc”. On board, five olibrius full of humor and talent: Jean Dujardin, Bruno Salomone, Eric Collado, Eric Massot and Emmanuel Joucla. This Saturday, February 11, 2023, on the set of TPMP People of C8, it was Eric Collado who was invited to remember the beautiful years of success of this group like no other and especially the dissolution of this one. Very on edge on the subject, Matthieu Delormeau tried, by a thousand tricks, to make Jean Dujardin speak ill of his former acolyte. But the latter, with his southern accent and good nature, did not fall into the trap at all, to the great displeasure of the fierce-toothed host! He attacks : “When Jean Dujardin leaves… there was a shouting match…”. Eric Collado then explains: “There was never a contract between the Nous C Nous, and when Jean auditioned for Un gars, une fille, well, he left… and we continued as four more for two more years.” he says first before simply adding: “and then, afterwards, we each wanted to do things that we do alone”. Disappointed by the response, the host insists: “You said that when Jean started doing Un Gars, Une Fille, he started to have a little melon”, and the actor to reply immediately: “I didn’t say that, you said it!”, which causes general hilarity. Annoyed, Matthieu Delormeau engages: “So there, it is enough that it is done to me every time…” he said, nervously trying to find the “right” file
He contacts by ear the technique “You have the excerpt on Eric Collado which says ‘when Jean Dujardin… did…’ Do you have it? Please get it out for me for Eric.”

“All the We C We had the big head, except me…”
Amused, the ex of the troop continues: “I’ll even tell you better, all the We C We had big heads, except me… I had a big ass”, an answer which, once again, triggers laughter. Annoyed, the presenter tries a new technique to create controversy: “Well following that, unfortunately, it was Bruno Salomone who started making One-Man who also hit the mark, and who entered the series Do not do this, Do not do that, so I imagine that we say to ourselves ‘Good , we were four, we are now only two, the other two it works very well…” And Eric Collado to correct it because, obviously, there is a file problem on this file: “No, there were three of us, Eric Massot Manu Joucla and me, and we went on the roads in walkers, we played our shows, our plays… Besides, I’m on tour!I can talk about it, I make a TV every ten years!‘” New bursts of laughter from the public, while the poster for his show passes on the screen Hurry up, Hurry up!More and more entangled in this conversation which would have liked so much to be aggressive, Matthieu Delormeau continues: “But my question is going to be very honest, when of course we saw that the We C We were going to the top, everyone knew, it was great, the sketches were coming… and we see his friends who are starting to hit everywhere and that you are invited less, what is going on in his head?” And a new funny response from the actor: “Well, when we are invited, we are happy! Our job is to make people laugh, and every night I go on stage either with the One-Man…” the man is cut off in his tracks by the host: “No, but at the time Eric, you did not have this wisdom!” who replies tac-au-tac: “Ah yes yes, because I started at thirty years old, me”. Laurent Fontaine then comes to the rescue of the host who seems to be at the end of his tether: “did you have the balls that others succeed and not you?” he launches to the actor who answers, the accent singing and definitively nailing the beak to the gossips: “No, we don’t have the balls when someone succeeds, especially when this someone you love…”. An interview that leaves Matthieu Delormeau speechless, he who was hoping so much to make a buzz with a few nasties… like his mentor Marc-Olivier Fogiel, surely.
