Matthieu Delormeau soon back in “TPMP”? Bernard Montiel responds to rumours!

On May 18, Matthieu Delormeau came out of his hinges on the set of “TPMP”. Reacting to the debate surrounding the presumed homophobic attitude of football player Idrissa Gueye, the columnist violently fell out with Gilles Verdez. “You really are a huge asshole“, launched the ex-host of NRJ 12 to him. “It was support against homophobia. Homophobia is not an opinion, it is a crime. What you just said there is a shame. Really I say it in your eyes […].”, he chanted, provoking the anger of Cyril Hanouna. “Gilles homophobic? […]. He is an example of tolerance, he is against all forms of racism”, corrected the host, qualifying his columnist as “very bad” during this debate. Too much for Matthieu Delormeau who then preferred to leave the show in full live.

The next day, the star host of C8 added a layer: “Gilles is here today and well done for being here. We do a job that is not difficult. And starlet behaviors, there are none here […]”. And to add: “When we have to do the show, we did it. It’s not Club Med! We do the show, we’re a family and if something goes wrong, we talk about it and we take care of our job Matthieu, I adore him. But you have to be there and hold your position. There is no starlet in TPMP. There is no ‘I don’t come the next day, I have to rest and I I’m not well. TV is about talent and mind!”.

Far from these big show bickering, Matthieu Delormeau left to recharge his batteries in Cap d’Antibes in the very chic hotel used to receiving stars from all over the world. Claire Chazal’s great friend shared some snapshots of his daily life based on his Instagram account. As for a possible return to “TPMP”, the columnist has not yet communicated anything. Bernard Montiel, his colleague on C8, was asked by many viewers who wanted to hear from the tall blond. “Why don’t you ask Matthieu Delormeau directly??? We don’t have to answer for our friend.” replied the former host of TF1.
