Matthew McConaughey celebrated 10 years of marriage to Camila Alves.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, the Interstellar star got philosophical about his 10-year marriage to the Brazilian model.
“I think the challenge as we move forward in our relationships is to realize and accept that as individuals we are always changing,” he said. We are essentially who we are, but individually, some things become… personal, our list of priorities changes, our list of values changes. We want to try new things. »

He continued: “Or maybe we want to do something we used to do twice as often. And sometimes you’re like, we need to measure, is this change in my partner something that I think is essentially him and I need to adapt, or is it something where I say, “This isn’t him, this is not a good way to go. Should I step in and say, ‘Please don’t do this’?”
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves met at a Los Angeles club in 2006 and got engaged in December 2011. They married in a three-day celebration in Austin, Texas, in June 2012.
“The reason we love each other is perhaps the same thing. But we are no longer the same people 10 years later, 15 years later, we have different interests, we evolve, added the 53-year-old actor. And I think we need to be lenient with each other and say, ‘I understand that you evolve, you change, but is that our moral limit?’
He concluded: “I think it’s always a good question as parents and as a couple to ask, ‘Even if we change, is our moral course where it was when we were fell in love with each other and why we started a family?’”
