Mathilde Seigner: Vibrant tribute to her friend Yves Rénier, a year after his death

Since the disappearance of Yves Rénier, who died at the age of 78 on April 24, 2021, Mathilde Seigner has been left with a deep wound. A year later, she has not forgotten her faithful friend to whom she paid tribute on Instagram. “My friend Yves 1 year already I loved you so much“, she wrote in the caption of a beautiful photo of them, smiling and accomplices. By saying goodbye to him, the actress of the judicial mini-series such a long night, has lost one of the pillars of its existence. And time doesn’t seem to ease his pain. While she has just taken a break from her career, Emmanuelle Seigner’s sister had planned to find her “pal” on the screen, but life decided otherwise.

They had already collaborated in many projects: Chief Medical Officer in 2012, in Just a cop in 2016 then in I just wanted to go home in 2017. But Mathilde Seigner was about to relive the experience by playing for her director friend, on the true story of a woman with Charcot’s disease. A project that has lost all meaning since the disappearance of the famous interpreter of the Commissioner Moulinas the mother of Louis Petit, a 14-year-old teenager born from his story with Mathieu Petit in TV Star. “It was linked to my relationship with Yves, who was more than a friend, she admitted to our colleagues. It was my family. Together, we managed to do dramatic stuff while having fun all day. I lost a big brother, not a friend. Without him it makes no sense.”
