Her dad is François-Henri Pinault, the 3rd fortune of France, her stepmother is Salma Hayek. Mathilde Pinault is now 20 years old, and she is on her way to becoming a star… in the equestrian world. Last Sunday, she took part in the Paris Eiffel Jumping, in the presence of a few stars who ride horses like her, such as Jessica Springsteen, the daughter of Bruce (alias the Boss), Georgina Bloomberg, the daughter of Michael, the former mayor of New York, but also Mary Kate Olsen or Marina Hands.
“Modeling is not my job”
Daughter of Dorothée Lepère, she has an older brother, François, born in 1997, a younger half-brother, Augustin James born in 2006 (whose mother is Linda Evangelista) and a younger half-sister Valentina Paloma (whose mother is Salma Hayek ).
This week, the one who is a finance student confides in Paris Match and admits to being more cavalier than a model. Of a “very anxious” nature, Mathilde is sure of herself when she sets foot in the stirrup. “Horseback riding has a therapeutic dimension for me. I am in a bubble. I disregard everything” she said to our colleagues. Also, she decided that she needed horse riding and her studies, to find her balance. She even gave up studying in the United States so as not to abandon her horses (she has 6, at Haras des Elfs, 40 minutes from Paris).
An heiress who relies on simplicity
