Indeed, Matthew Johann was the press secretary for explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, who lost his life with four others during their expedition to the Titanic. But before taking care of various personalities, Mathieu Johann devoted himself to another passion: singing. In 2004, he notably participated in the fourth season of the program hosted by Nikos Aliagas: the star Academy.

“When your name is Mathieu Johann, how much did you earn in total at Star Academy?”the journalist asked him before his guest responded frankly: “150,000 euros”. But the former academician did not spend this sum or use it for his needs. In fact, he wanted to help his mother and buy her a house.
“It was put in the house for mom.”, he indicated. Jordan de Luxe, welcoming the gesture, still wanted to know if the entire sum was paid in the purchase of this property. “Yes, because I had to buy the house for 115,000 euros, and do the work with it”then clarified Mathieu Johann before confirming that “yes, it’s all gone in there”.
