After causing controversy because of a video with a friend where they twerk in crop tops in a church, Benjamin Ledig was asked to answer for his actionsand to defend themselves on the set of Do not touch My TV this Friday, February 18, 2022. Thus, the 18-year-old influencer justified himself by saying: “I had decided to make an affront to all the reflections received in relation to religion (…) I especially wanted to denounce the homophobia that there is in the church”.
That said, this explanation was not to the liking of the chroniclers of Do not touch My TV who did not fail to let him know…with the exception of Matthieu Delormeau. Indeed, the latter did not hesitate to come to his defense and said: “I’m just touched by this boy (…) Of course it’s shocking but there is a small message to hear (…) I am Catholic and like this boy, I have the same sexuality (.. .) It took me forty years to accept that I am a Catholic (…) You have to go beyond what can shock people (…) He suffers from not being recognized by a religion“.

By discovering the words of the former host of the Mad MagRaphael Pépin could not help but step up and gave a huge rant in his Instagram story. “But Matthieu Delormeau you talk sh*t, I tell you. I take the liberty of telling you. That you defend this guy there to the limit, I want it for the homophobic cause and I agree. But you can’t say it’s awkward and tell a guy who works in a nightclub that it’s for the buzz, wake up big boy (…) Wake up boy it’s nonsense because it’s not at all a video to pass a speech everyone knows it” dropped the reality TV candidate.
Before concluding: “When you make a video twerking in a church, a mosque… I can’t forgive those people (…) Plus he doesn’t apologize (…) Stop it, it wasn’t to make a speech at all“. At least that has the merit of being clear!
