Back from an entire season with the French rugby 7s team, Mathias Colombet responded to the ambitions displayed by the Paloise Section. Holder thirteen times this season, the child of the club feels more and more confident and wishes to progress with the club. “We are in the process of forging a real state of mind specific to the Paloise Section. All these elements convinced me to stay, especially since I am at home”launches Mathias Colombet.
A local child who has become a key player for the Section
Versatile and able to evolve on the wing or in the centre, the player puts all his qualities specific to rugby 7s at the service of the Top 14 team. This extension reinforces the Pau project as explained by the team manager: “We are working over time on building our workforce”explains Sébastien Piqueronies. “Extending players still under contract next year allows us to solidify our medium-term project”.
The Section’s next match will be Saturday April 30 for the reception of Racing 92.
