massive Russian strikes hit several major cities across the country

In the heart of kyiv, Ukraine, the bombardments were incessant on the morning of Monday, October 10. After three months without a fight, the capital fell back into terror. Missiles passed over residents of the city. A bridge in kyiv was particularly targeted. A deluge of Russian fire which falls indiscriminately, even in the middle of a kindergarten, in retaliation for the attack on the Crimean bridge, which occurred on the weekend of October 8.

Beyond kyiv, the whole of Ukraine is affected by this wave of bombardments on a scale unmatched for months. kyiv says Russia has launched 83 missiles since morning. “They are looking for panic and chaos, they want to destroy our energy system, they are desperate. And the second target is the people”said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video. In a meeting with his security council, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed Monday’s massive and punitive strikes. He also threatened Ukraine: “If terrorist attacks on our territory continue, Russia’s responses will be severe.” A provisional toll reports 11 dead and 90 injured.
