After around thirty strikes targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut, on the evening of Saturday October 5, and others on the evening of Sunday, the Israeli army surrounded the Jabalia area, in the north of Gaza. The death toll is 26, including nine children.
Israel struck again in Beirut (Lebanon) on the evening of Sunday October 6. The IDF launched two new air raids, and an explosion rang out in one of Hezbollah’s stronghold neighborhoods. An hour earlier, the Israeli army had called on civilians to evacuate the area. A new bombardment, after dozens of strikes during the day.
In the afternoon at the border, Benjamin Netanyahu encouraged his troops. “A year ago, we suffered a terrible blow. Over the past 12 months, we have changed reality from one extreme to another. The whole world marvels at the blows you deal to our enemies“, he said. On the other front, Israeli soldiers went to the Gaza Strip, to surround the Jabalia area and prevent Hamas from reconstituting forces, to the dismay of Palestinian civilians.
