The British formation was to perform in Europe, notably in France at the festival in the Paris region We Love Green, scheduled for June 2022. The sound wizards from Bristol were initially scheduled for 2021, for the tenth anniversary of this meeting. But this edition had been canceled due to the health context, as in 2020.
We Love Green is an environmentally conscious festival and Massive Attack’s programming was not insignificant. The group campaigns for the music industry to reduce its carbon footprint around live performances and tours. The leader of the formation, Robert Del Naja, alias 3D, even participated in an exchange on this theme at the UN climate conference last year.
