(Quebec) Liberal MP Marwah Rizqy has deactivated her Twitter account to give herself a “mental break from the trolls”. Very active on social networks, the official opposition spokesperson for education assures us that she “is doing well” and that she continues “the fight in education” one week before the start of the school year.
The member for Saint-Laurent closed her Twitter account earlier this week, having first been the target of a hacker. This attack now “settled”, she nevertheless chose to suspend her account on her own. “I’m taking a mental break from the trolls,” she explained Monday on her Instagram account, which remains in office.

Mme Rizqy is a regular on Twitter where she follows the Legault government and the Minister of Education, Jean-François Roberge, on its management of the pandemic in the school network.
The main interested party did not wish to comment further on her temporary withdrawal from the social network.
“It illustrates the current difficult context of social networks”, argued the director of communications of the office of the leader of the official opposition, Jérémy Ghio. “The health and mental health of our elected officials is our priority.
