Marvel’s next movie starring the God of Thunder, Thor: Love and Thunder, will mark the return of Natalie Portman in the role of Jane Foster. This is what the trailer revealed on Monday by Marvel Studios.

This clip from the upcoming film also shows Thor Odinson’s (Chris Hemworth) new quest to find out who he is. After losing the card in Avengers: Endgame, the former king of Asgard seems determined to take control and find himself. We can of course expect that not everything will go as planned. Christian Bale will take on the role of Gorr, the Godslayer, against whom Thor will have to fight with his accomplices.
In this next feature film from the Marvel universe, the character played by Natalie Portman, Jane Foster, reappears. The trailer lets it appear that she won’t just be a love interest of Thor, but a top superhero herself.
Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8.
