Quebec filmmaker Martin Villeneuve, brother of Denis, will allow Jonathan Majors to resume his career on the big screen with the film Mercilessaccording to the Deadline website.
The American actor, who avoided prison after being found guilty of assaulting his ex-partner last December, was on a roll after taking on major roles in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania And Creed III to start 2023.
Based on a screenplay by Frank Hannah, Merciless is a thriller which tells the story of a CIA agent on the trail of the criminals who kidnapped his partner. Filming will take place in Saskatchewan in the fall.
